The BEST thing I ever ate was leftover pizza for breakfast, or rather, brunch.

It was uni time during holidays and we were drunk as hell the night before. The morning, those of us who shared the house (me, a korean, and a couple of malaysian students) were just hungover and no one bothered to clean up the place, let alone prepare breakfast. However, there were a couple of leftover pepperoni and cheese from Domino's Fast Delivery that came late while too many of us were pissed drunk, stoned, or busy groping tits to bother about.

I stumbled upon them and gobbled them down. Was a fucking great relief to have something greasy, cheesy, tasty, and on bread to stuff into my mouth and fill up my tummy. That felt so sooooo satisfying.

I've since had good and expensice stuff to eat (company's expense of course) but nothing comes as gratifying as those slices of overnight dried pizzas.

Wish to hear yours.

Cheers!

Longtong eh?

I never expected lontong to be mentioned here, especially with stuff like mee rebus which (to me) is so much more tasty.

Well, if you like lontong, you like lontong..

Cheers!

When I was a kid at one time I was sick and down for many days could not eat,
At first sign of recovery my mum prepared some kind of fish soup I still remember how it tasted till today

Meaty Stuff

Luckily, nobody says chili crap. Longtong ? Gado Gado ? Bobo Hitam ? Laksa ? I like Bobo and Satay (mutton and beef only).

FYI: Satay means "3 pieces" (of meat on a stick) in hokkien. Admiral Chengho needed this rationing of limited cured meat in Arab style for himself and the crew.

I sense what you feel. Was drinking heavily with a korean neighbour when he told me as a child, it feels so much better when his mother rubs his tummy when he had a tummy ache (as a child) as when his papa did so.

Mums are special in their way.

Cheers!

Satay is a perfect meal (with ketupat), or snack, or party food.

I do satay marinade rub (cumin, star anise, and a couple of other spices) on korean style short rib on the barbie. Goes great with beer.

Cheers!
