SDP losers whine about unfairness

Good clarification, thanks. :)

But I stand my ground, in certain permutation of the political equation, chaos would ensue. Yes, I said that and would stand by that. That's my right to opinion and right to voicing out my opinion. You're entitled to yours too.

Yupz, no challenge whatsoever. Standing on one's principle is a great thing. I do ponder on negatives from time to time but I always look beyond that and I believe in nothing ventured nothing gain. Always fearing the unknown is not going get people anywhere. People must be game enough to effect a change, in the name of freedom, in the name of a better tomorrow.:p

Happy smokey kid. I'm puffing now too. :D

This is the resident population pyramid. With an estimated 2m immigrants in the workforce, the voter bars are likely to be much thinner for early adults. Boomers in their 50s will be the key demography most influential to voting outcome as the population pyramid slowly develops into an inverted pyramid. That is also why its the young adults are howling over getting screwed by immigrants everywhere while boomers gush about how the PAP transformed the economy and how their flats now sell for 10x the original price paid. It'll take more than a miracle/disaster to convince them to vote against their benefactors, and this may be a challenge too difficult for the younger generation to overcome.

You have your points there, I agree the challenge is not going to be easy. The unknown is a fearful thing but the fight must go on, for better or for worst. The message must be out that a change does not mean or necessary mean the economy will go south or people's properties becoming worthless overnight. A change is for a better government and for the betterment of people's lives. Papzis is not the only one, there are and there always will be others capable of better governance.:p

How do you managed that, no urge?? Got to give it to you. For me chain smoking aside, after sleep, after food and going to the toilet the puff is a culture.:D

Unless you cna proven beyond doubt that excessive libertarian democracy works to create sustainable development and manage to counter big wigs like Joseph Stiglitz, Dani Rodrik and Ha-Joon Chang, the SDP will forever be the party that will lose.

For me, smoking always go along with drinking. So when there's no drinking session with buddies, quitting is a matter of just finishing whatever left in the pack after the session and don't buy the next pack. ;)

But when I'm in Malaysia or Thailand or China etc., drink or no drink also must buy a pack. Price too cheap to resist. It's like, what a waste if I don't smoke while I'm there. :D

No urge so I gather it's just casual smoking. Good for you, that'll save you a mini fortune. While me is no good, chain smoking, even online surfing the puff goes on and if drinking worst, stick after stick and the urge just wont go away. I think on x-ray I will never see my lungs..:D

Don't worry buddy, Winston Churchill and Deng Xiaoping lived over 90s. ;) I don't really believe in all those anti-tobacco health warnings. All overhyped by research doctors looking for justification to keep their non-jobs justifiable. I think that the junks (not limited to fast foods) we all eat will kill us faster than tobacco. Why didn't they put health warnings on these? Smoking has an extra edge that I admit, it irritates non-smokers around you. If you smoke considerately, I don't see what's the problem. It's an excuse for government to increase taxes only.

Very true, great enlightenment. Couldnt agree more with you down to every details. I always wonder why must all these so call researchers be so brutal towards tobacco. It's from a plant, all natural and nothing synthetic but yet play out to be like some kind of toxin so toxic that has a every link to almost every disease or illness they failed to find a cure. Talking about non-smokers, geezz....that pisses me off, those that cover their nose, mouth and face looking so constipated when I pass them by.:p
