Fair to take O-level maths exam just after Deepavali?

Scheduling English or Chinese subject instead of Maths would have been a better choice. Have a heart for these kids, even though they are minorities.

How to have a heart when the date changes? To cater for them by changing dates you will end up screwing up the rest of the students.

According to sense who cares about the majority students? You only need to have a heart for minorities.

I did not suggest that Exam Board should do a change for 2011 as that will affect the majority which is worse. Rather for future years to come (more specifically, 2012 onwards), the exam board to consider a more optimal subjects scheduling.
Maths is a compulsory subject thus affecting all students. To minimise impact to those who celebrate Deepavali (or religious holidays), to consider arranging Language subjects or non-compulsory subjects after/around the holiday.

Eh, hello, are you reading? It's not the Exam Board's fault. It's Deepavali's fault. Else I agree with you - put Religious Knowledge or Chinese and Malay (but not Tamil) the day after Deepavali.

She should just point the blame on those dumbo Hindu Priests who did the Deepavali calendar...No point KPKB to all Govt boards... Its either Deepavali or doin her O'Level paper... If she not happy, then she can go to India and take her mother language paper there...

Somehow somebody will blame the education board instead of those damn kelings.

They should blame their forefathers for not working hard enough to calculate the calendar more accurately.

Malay calendar also not "chun" one.

Malay calender same as lunar calender. U never study properly. Every year Islam only have 12 month lunar.
Where Chinese every 5 year have 2 extra month.
Do a study on the calender and then tell me is there any different Islam calender with Chinese.

LOL count on those mats to do such a complex task ar? With the ah nehs having such a long history of looking into the sky and calculation still cannot fix their date what makes u think these half evolved apes can do a bettter job?

They going to blame the sg education system or chinese racism or something else.

....I scared when dealing with them on things. Their idea can Flip-Flop and changes without warning. Always sounds nice but seldom workable.

This , I must agree.... See my siggis...

Chao keling... go eat shit lah...

I offer one solution. The Indian community should solve their own problem. If their own holiday can cause them to fail maths, then apply to government to change their holiday to another day. But I support KNNBCCB final solution LOL

go to CNA or some other bigger forum to see ppl's reactions to these kelings ridiculous whinings. You'll find that there are quite a number of chinese dogs that'll just pander to their whims and pity them for all their nonsense, instead of kelings finding a way to solve this problem among themselves and not whine.

No surprising that Deepavali changes, my Indian friend also always changes the things that he says...I scared when dealing with them on things. Their idea can Flip-Flop and changes without warning. Always sounds nice but seldom workable.

They got forked tongues...They also slippery like an eel.. Fuckin calculative, opportunists...

What is there to argue when the Brits do not recognise it as a holiday. There is quite a number of Indians in London ? I heard they have curry and dono what Indian food in Mc Don outlets there.

How can one NOT hate Christmas and NY to fall on both weekends for the same year !

KNNBCCB, during my time in NUS the freaking examinations are very near to CNY period. We all lan lan stay at home to study for exam. Nobody KPKB!!

This Ah Neh got to learn to grow up. Next time if got important office work preparation before Deepavali, is it she tell her boss that is the day after Deepavali, so no go???

Wow i really pity you during that time. You know i'm damn sick and tired of this fucking country's attitude that everytime chinese get inconvinenced they just have to suck it up and put up with it but when it happens to say a keling or someone else they have to post a big hoo haa on the media and somehow ppl are expected to sympathize with them.
