Mr Lee: Beware rifts that hinder progress

You define being politically aware as being aware of divides between classes, the way the economy is going and the opportunities for different groups. By your definition, our prime minister and the PAP are the most politically unaware in this country. They are unaware of the class divide. That is why they constantly enrich themselves while keeping the salaries of the common people stagnated. They are unaware that our economy is going in a direction that increases costs more than it increases salaries for the people. That is why they continue to grow the economy at all costs. If the PAP was really so politically aware, it wouldn’t have been caught unawares.

This I fully agree. When opposition tried to give constructive debate, PAP said oppositions are trying to score political point. When PAP policiies did not get popular support, PAP said Singaporeans are divisive. When parliament opens, you will get a clue that PAP knows no wrong, it is the people who don't understand them. Blame everyone except PAP - the slogan - is casted in stone inside parliament unless Singapore tear it down in the next election.

Beware of the words some old people like to spout and nag. His record at decision making is not that great. He only makes good political bullying.

These are the words that have no stake in the rest our future. If we follow and turns out wrong, we suffer.

But the old man will be dead. I'd rather we make the decision and suffer the benefits or the consequences.
