Outrage over pervert getting away

A woman is furious that she was filmed upskirt at a Daiso outlet located in Plaza Singapura.
The woman, "Coco" related her account of the incident on the Stomp website. She says that she and another woman were victims of an "upskirt pervert" and she is"terribly upset" with the staff at the store. Coco was shopping at the store when she was filmed upskirt by a Chinese man. She describes the man as about 1.75m to 1.85m tall with a fair skin tone.
Coco had alerted the staff that about the act and went to confront the man only to see him filming another woman in the same way. However, none of the staff helped her to stop the man. Coco said, "I approached the guy alone and asked for his handphone. He shrugged my hand off his shoulder and ran away. None of the staff helped me to stop him. They just stood by watching".
When Coco called the police, the officers arrive to find no proof of the man's actions as some of the closed circuit cameras in the store were actually dummies. On her apparent helplessness, Coco said that she is "absolutely disgusted" by fellow Singaporeans who stood by and watched her predicament.
She had even run past shops and into the carpark to chase the man, but although she shouted for help to catch the man, no one came to help her. Finally, she laments that the Daiso outlet has "unhelpful staff" and "lousy security".
