What Instruments Do You Play

Casio doesn't have the 'escapement' feel of an acoustic piano. The escapement feel is important because it neutralizes the knocks within the joints of your fingers.

I play guitar too. But only can play a few chords and nothing more. I also can play drums cos last time was trying to form a band w friends. Only manage to jam a few times then we dis-band liao. Cos most of us go NS, no time to meet up and jam.

Now.. i wan to learn harmonica. Anyone knows any harmonica instructors??
!&!!

Bro don't mind tell me how you self taught? I also feel like learning but no money to pay people teach me. Thank you!

I play the guitar and was self-taught. I have an Ibanez electric and a Congress hollow guitar. I am not very good as I have a problem with protruding fingernails that interferes with my fingering. Despite that I play reasonably well, good enough for family gatherings.:D

You have to learn the first basic chords which is C, Am, F and G7. These 4 chords can be use to play a lot of songs especially the old ones. Keep strumming whilst your other hand learn to press the chords with the fingers. It takes a lot of practice and your fingers will be painful. I use to pick up the guitar and practice for an hour until my fingers are too painful to press the strings. Put the guitar down and pick it up again and practice until you cannot take the pain.

Eventually your finger tips get hardened and you can play for longer period. Don't worry too much about the rhythm and timing when strumming. As time goes by you will pick that up as your changing of chords are more fluid.

Go to Youtube where there are videos that teaches you to play the guitar. Some of them are very good instructional videos and may have the song you know and like. Feel free to ask if you want to know more. Btw, I don't play the classical guitar.

Gosh, I wish I could play something. Have lots of musician friends, some even played professionally. All I can do is beat the table with my hands when they jam.

Sigh.

Back in the my days, it was recording the songs onto a cassette tape, play it on a recorder over & over & over again, to get the major chords...then realize later they have mnior ones & much later, they were playing the martin acoustic guitar ( CF Martin) that was why couldn't get the chords, our guitars was just S$100 over, the sound is different ...just play by ear...hmmm...no need money, an interest to learn, inquisitive mind...and bleeding fingers will do!!

If you want to play the harp, you need to either wait for your last leaf to fall or happily jump MRT.:D

Once the 'last leaf falls' it would not be a peaceful harp being played, it will rise & BLOW THE TRUMPET!
