The man who mocked Singapore in a self-made video has fled the country.
The Chinese national, Wang Peng Fei, 24, had mocked Singapore mercilessly in his video, jeering at everything from our multi-racial people, to our unofficial national language, Singlish.
Wang, who was studying at the East Asian Institute of Management (EASB), was expelled from the private school after his vitriolic video went viral.
A member of the opposition Reform Party, Chen Zhi Xiang (age 24), has also made a police report over Wang's racist comments.
Wang is understood to have fled the country over fears of being charged in court. According to a friend of Wang, he was expelled on Monday, then hurriedly packed up and caught a flight back to China on Tuesday.
According to EASB, Wang had displayed a poor attitude and was unrepentant when he was expelled.
