A man was found dead this morning in a rubbish chute.

The body, believed to be a man in his 40s to 50s, was found by a cleaner this morning at Blk 55, Lengkok Bahru, in the Redhill area.

According to the Omy.com website, the man's body sported injuries, and was found with his head in the rubbish and his legs sticking out from the black chute bin on the ground floor.

The man is believed to have landed in the ground floor bin after falling through the rubbish chute from a high floor.

Nearby residents told reporters that the man is married to a Chinese national woman. Some speculate that the man may have been pushed into the rubbish chute "not of his own accord".

At least four police vehicles were spotted at the scene cordoning off the area and retrieving the body.

Meanwhile, police are investigating the case.

Silly uncles, how is that 'true love' working out for you?

No shit Sherlock. Name me a previous case where the chosen suicide method involved getting inside a rubbish chute.

Definitely foul play. The chiak liao bee poodles had better not classify this as 'unnatural death' again.

Possible that he tried to climb up to his home after being locked out by wife. Then fell & died.:(

You think he climbed up the rubbish chute feet first?

Read a news report that the man was spotted going into an unoccupied unlocked unit on a floor higher than his flat.
It also said that apparently, the man had been locked out of his flat by the wife.

Unlike the hobson's choice of going into a train packed like sardines, we do have the choice of not marrying them.

Then he can sleep in the unoccupy flat , why climb up and down right ?
