I'm friends with most of the HH sales execs now, initially 2 of them were also very unfriendly, but after they found out I'm a direct neighbour of one of the Gamuda bosses and am a repeat customer, these 2 started smiling to us everytime and even intro us more units. Interesting part is one of them will approach and intro us resale units when our sales exec is out for lunch, tell us where they bought their HH units, ask for advice how we deal with design problem as their customers who are looking for similar units asked them.
One advice I would give to potential HH buyers is to go there prepared. Do some research about buying a house in Malaysia, know the gov policies and regulations, go there only to enquire about the project itself, avoid general questions like can foreigner buy 2 storey terraces, landed below 500K, what is a cluster house. They will think you are not an experienced, serious buyer.
But I must admit, I've seen some interested buyers who are simply too yaya like they own the place, and they ask questions like is that a golf course, etc.
Though I agree the sales execs at HH are generally inexperienced sales people, I have seen much worst sales people at Scientex, Skudai. We can go into the empty sales office, look look and walk around for 5 minutes without anyone approaching or acknowledging our presence. When we approached a lady sales exec who was chilling at her seat at a counter chit chatting with her colleagues laughing like nobody's business, the lady didn't seem interested to serve and didn't seem to want to answer our questions. Then we saw a master plan which shows low cost apartments, out of curiosity, I asked her whether they are planning to build low cost apartments, she seems very offended. Then halfway thru, she told us straight that this project is a high end project, and it's not what we are looking for (because we wore shorts and slippers), and when another customer (seems to be a regular customer) entered the office, the lady promptly called her part time colleague (some 18/19 year old teen) over to take over. This one is worst, when we asked her questions, she will pretend not to hear us, and at most, she will nod or shake her head while looking away. It felt as if she can't wait for us to leave, not paying any attention to us when we left after we politely greet her good bye.
