haha...being a noob, I won't know where to start even. Some fishes maybe but not reptiles or other wild animals. One of the most beautiful cats is the Clouded Leopard, but they are extremely rare.

Dammit, I inadvertantly lost all my websites yesterday when I accepted Firefox 5.0. Lost all my foxtabs links. Unable to find most of them as I usually erase history for reasons of privacy.

Bro ... Some fishes also very rare .. Even some cats and dogs are rare maybe you can start with fishes .. Which you are good at . Not only arowana and rays can make money ..there's also expensive monster fish , koi , goldfish ... Even some sucker fish can be rare .. Collector will pay any price for their hobby especially those rare ones .. Keeping rare animals , fishes , reptiles ..ect It's like driving a lambo among their hobbies friends ...

Very true that nowadays there are hobbyists with deep deep pockets, who will pay for a rare specie. New upmarket LFS are springing up, one recently in Pasir Ris. Their showpiece will be a huge cylindrical aquarium which may be ready in 3 months time. It is already up but maybe they are recycling it now to prepare for some big and rare species. Anything that you have to offer?

One problem in this business will be to find the buyers as there are many old hands who knows this industry inside out.

Omg when i see a spider i just want to squish it. A spider as big as a tarantula i dunno man i would probably beat the shit out of it. Btw i heard that tarntuals can fire out the hairs on their legs which really hurts when u breathe it in and also their bite is quite nasty but not lethal to humans.

To tell you the truth i'm not surprised that AVA is so ignorant and bo chup. The entire sg is actually like this. SG is based more on reputation rather than actual expertise. Right at the very top do you think our mini stars and the president etc for eg even deserve their very high pay cos of their explemary work?

Wow this thread is interesting. Drifter, you are a regular wildlife expert!!! I have been interested in having a pet for awhile now. Life in SG getting too stressful and getting jaded with cheonging... I want to start with something hardy that wouldn't die on me. Was thinking of goldfish or tortoise but you seem to have opened a whole new realm of possibilities. What would you recommend if I want something slightly more exotic? I am ultra-beginner level and snakes are out hehehe!!!
