Did LHL really say at the cabinet swearing-in that his and the government's goal is to create a just and fair society?
My goodness, if that's the case, why have we been criticising and complaining all this time? Have we wasted our time and effort?

The stark reality is that our society is as far removed from being just and fair as ever before. Personally, I dislike his father and his wooden predecessor more than him. But under his tenure in my opinion, our society has become less fair and just than under those two fogeys.

As for those who surround him and have "subsidiary power", just a little reminder.
A just and fair society means justice and fairness for EVERYONE, i.e. all ordinary Singapore citizens.
It's not just for those whom you are "grateful" to or those who can bring you to "greater heights".
Just in case you did not know or misunderstood.

Last election it was "Leave no man behind".
With this phrase they charged forward.
This election it is "Just and fair society".

Past elections it was "Towards a kinder society", "To achieve Swiss Standard of Living".

It had gotten worst each time and I bet to differ this time.

Is this an acknowledgement that the government thus far has not been "just and fair"?
