I think Singapore is the only country in the world that:-

1) Those who did not have a NUS or NTU grad cert, usually they will promote u to the next higher grade without pay adjustment.

2) They do not recognize part-time degree BUT they will not tell you so and will reply you with a long-winded and standard email or letter from HR explaining about performance-based stuff.

Agree or Disagree? SAY!!!

Mindef dont even allow ICT deferment for male students trying to further their studies or professional qualifications in some institutions here.:o

No point studying so much after not recognised by the Ministries (SUCH AS MINISTRY OF EDUCATION) and Stat Boards
unless u are sponsored by them. But then how many are sponsored, very little selected few.So majority wanting to upgrade self-financed their studies but met with non-recognition by theses Ministries and Stat Boards.
IF those qualifications are not recognised by the Govt,WHY DO THEY ALLOW SO MANY PRIVATE SECTOR INSTITUTIONS TO OPERATE CONDUCT CLASSES CONDUCT EXAMS AND ISSUE QUALIFICATIONS ????
KNNCCB to MIW.If don't recognised,state clearly lah,really do things in a ball-less way.
