i'll shop in cold storage next time for my grocery.

drove to c s at king albert rd to buy TIGER which was advertised for $48.80 with one gold-plated RABBIT free and a $10 cs voucher which means the 24carton TIGER only cost about $1.60 per can. very cheap!

however, while there, the gold rabbit gifts were out of stocks. here's the priceless service that we got. the manager actually called a nearby branch to check whether any of those fu, lu, shou RISIS rabbits were availabe.

was directed to go to the nearest SUNSET WAY where another cold storage was located. just love it!! FREE PARKING!! in king albert was given 1 hr free parking. when reached SUNSET WAY, again parking was FREE!!

there bought 4 cartons of TIGER. the very helpful lady sexy manager there was indeed one gauge up in her service. as was too busy to come back to buy anything with the c s $10 vouchers which i got 4pcs or $40 altogether, i asked her whether she could make the deduct now instead of i having to coming back for another 2nd purchase.

cheerfully, she acceded and deducted $40 straight away from my bil. cold storage really made my day. i returned home a happy and very satisfied customer with my set of fu, lu, shou RISIS rabbits and another extra to be given way.:)

You bought a car?

ntuc being an affliated workers' union grocery stall really cannot hold a candle against cold storage. u see those old aunties manning the cashiers, one can die of heart-attack. most of them are slow motion, grumpy faces and sometime very chatty among themselves ignoring the queue.

but i didn't steal somebody's wife who drives away humping the lawyer in her sexmobile:D

Sounds like Bob Marley and Eric Clapton...

"I shot the sheriff, but I didn't shoot the deputy."

One thing i dun like about Cold Storage is their Express Counter, which each customer ONLY limited for a basket per Q. But do you know that one can put more than 10 items in a single basket? In Sheng Siong, their Express Counter is limited to 6 items, not by basket.

i've seen an angmo complained to the cashier at express counter why she allowed ppl to Q with so many items and the cashier thiam thiam..

don't be so biased lah. ntuc fairprice also got chiobus okay....some aunties are very efficient and very friendly...why are you so discriminatory?

i got good service at fairprice...and the items are much cheaper than cs...

you angmor issit?

I like Giant, it is like a big PASAR in an aircon. Next is Carrefeur, than Cold Storage followed by Shop & Save. NTUC hardly fall under my favoured list in terms or pricing and service standards. Sheng Siong has just been downgraded by impression because of their unscrpulous mean of acquiring neighbourhood wet market.

I think this is unfair comment. NTUC FairPrice cashier girls or aunties are all quite good, helpful and courteous. Cold Storage not bad too, and usually beats FairPrice (except FP Xtra) in selection of products in store.

Cold Storage owns Shop & Save. They're like Robinson and John Little. Cold Storage owns 7-11 too. NTUC FairPrice owns Cheers.

Nope, Cold Storage doesn't own them. They all including Cold Storage, Giant, Guardian, Shop and Save, Jasons and 7-11 are all in the Group.

:)

good one bro!!!....yes, they always ask about your " member"...!!!!:):):)

It is terrible the farceprice aunties asking about my 'member', now we have the cold storage China Ah Mei ( FT no more LT), asking if I have 'passion'...why the ladies so rude these days?:p
