for all you know they might just increase their pay again on the pretext that their so call talent will lead the country out of recession...and without a doubt they will definitely claim credit once this country pulls out of this doom...and goes without saying another round of pay adjustment...

Next year when recession really kicks in. But even then u can't expect much. The most is about 20% and that's it....

Remember the last recession they took a 10% paycut.....but quickly it was restored when the economy started to breath. Then later they rewared themselves a fat juicy 33% pay increase. Meanwhile the workers pay goes down, their CPF cuts were not reinstated, and inflation caused by the gahmen eates away whatever is left.

Congratulations to those who voted for these self-serving leaders. You have sold your soul.

Not likely, didn't they just get a hike recently? At most a roll back to pre-increase levels.

they already know recession coming, so they already grab whatever they can, hike whatever they are able to.

1st Oct all the hikes, then follow by announcing a recession. Isnt that obvious?

because it is not nice to hike during a recession, so they take their biggest bite to whatever they can, then they announce it.
