This man was seen hogging six seats at the Ya Kun Toast outlet in Hougang Mall this morning (Jan 2) just to read his newspaper, despite the breakfast crowd.

STOMPer Andre, who saw the man, said:

"Despite the long queues, this man was oblivious to the people around him and was engrossed in his papers."

According to the STOMPer, the man was alone and might have finished his meal before that, but he was still seen reading his newspaper while others were looking for seats.

In HongKong, there are many such senior citizen hogging seats at Tim Sum Restaurant. They are more considerate that they don't take up the whole table like this uncle. Some of them just order maybe a Tai Pau and tea and just occupy a seat there to read newspaper for hours.
