When in exercise he camped with the men and ate rations like what the men ate unlike other officers that usually go back to camp for their hot meals and left the men under the charge of the pl sgt. Till this day I dare to say he is the only 1 I will trust to go to war with no questions asked.

Lta. GMS. Better than that. In Australia when they got lost at the outback, he gave all his ration to his men. Then went shoot wallabies and koalas for BBQ. The whole platoon was very happy. Everybody gave good comments and Lta. GMS was promoted to Cpt. GMS.
