Reports in our papers give more rise to speculation. Why a 154 cm person can drown in a 150 meter pool. Surely one can hop and jump your way to safety?

Also, if slip and fell and knock unconscious, where is the mention of a bruise?

Actually, drug means medication. In US, pharmacies are known as drug stores. The type that one'd get jailed or hanged for, is narcotics. It began life as medication too, with base morphine for anaesthetics and other pain relieves. Then somebody discovered could get high on it.

In other word, it is still drug, until ones drinks until it becomes an addiction, then it is narcotic.
