ONE of the women whom a Brunei billionaire playboy prince based one of his four life-size erotic statues on, has had to endure the embarrassment of giving evidence in a court case.
Micha Raines, 41, former fiancee and model of Prince Jefri Bolkiah's sex statue, is also the mother of his five-year-old boy.
She was forced to give evidence in a case at Manhattan state Supreme Court, in which the prince is suing two of his former lawyers for five million pounds (S$10.3 million). He claims they had conned him over a property.
Prince Jefri, 56, known for his extravagant lifestyle and alleged to have a harem of 40 women, was engaged to Ms Raines, a Las Vegas native.
The erotic statues depict the both of them entwined in a number of positions.
Although the current whereabouts of the statues are unknown, the Daily Mail reported that they were once kept in the Prince's Long Island estate, worth seven million pounds.
According to reports, Ms Raines was "prime, proper and fully clothed" at court.
Instead of letting her hair down, as how she was portrayed in the sex statues - Ms Raines kept it in a tight bun in court and wore a diamond-encrusted crucifix.
She spoke fondly of the prince and smiled warmly at him when she brushed past him in court.
Ms Raines testified that she "was paid a salary of 33,000 pounds a month" and "was given gifts".
She also revealed that although they have a son together, the Prince - who is the brother of one of the world's richest men - does not provide a penny in support.
However, she and her son currently live in a six million pound Las Vegas house, a gift from the prince.
She added: "He still calls a few times a month."
The Manhattan Supreme Court Justice has since barred defence lawyers from introducing evidence of Prince Jefri's extravagance and life of sex and luxury, reported the Daily Mail.
