thats gov responsibilities to protect the consumer rights and this is a tendency for conflict of interest. why not regulate it to protect the mass and the less able??? at the same time it will boost agents image as they are in bad light for many years after i quit as an agent. are you a property agent now?![]()
I'm not a property agent and has never been one. I'm just speaking neutrally and objectively. For example, an insurance agent has potential of conflict of interest too. If a client tells him he got certain disease, declaring it on the form might result in premium loading that the client would decline to pay, or direct decline by the insurance company. To declare or not to declare? To lose the potential commission? (This is a classic case of an intermediary representating both sides.)
The onus is on all of us to learn to live and think as intelligent beings. Every little problem or stumbling, calling for government regulation and legistation. Everything out there must be fair and ethical. We stop thinking. We just rely on government. It's inhumane. It's robotic. Humanity involves going through all the ups and downs and traps with brains.
