Why does human beings like to look forward to something...e.g. parents hoping their kid grow up faster, students look forward for graduation, army boys look forward to ORD, workers look forward to end their work day faster and so on. Do you know that by doing this, you are literally looking forward to die faster also. From now I shall look backward instead.

Be more positive. Don't be like the typical Sinkie with no direction and keeps complaining. Learn from the PRC talent. They are shining examples.

ehh .... kotek ...:o

when u do that, u will smell your own ass-hole .....

look backward? how? by turning ur head? siao ah!

i look forward to strike my toto. wahahaha:D

By looking backward till current point if life, it means people should be enjoying the little details of their current moments, as well as rekindling their happy pasts and not wanting time to pass. By looking forward to something, you are hoping for time to pass faster, which also will lead to getting older faster and dying faster !

How about staying in the present?

From now I shall look backward instead.

Doing that is not going to change anything. Time is merciless, the moment you're born, the next destination is death. It's either you live to regret or regret to live.

Because the future is a blank canvas you can paint your masterpiece on.

Human beings look forward because having hope and believing in perpetuity are 2 common traits of human beings.
Some human beings who don't stop to think probably think that their status in life, perhaps even their lives, are in perpetuity. That's why they are shocked and upset when things change or when faced with the prospect of impending death.

But as we all know, nothing is perpetual.
