I was chatting with a friend and he made the remark that by looking at the way PAP trying to portray Dr. Lily Neo upfront as the main anchor of Jalan Besar, he predicted that Yacoob will be asked to retire while Lily Neo will be promoted to minister.

The best portfolio for Lily Neo will be MCYS. Yes, let her help the PAP government spend more money on the vulnerable group! What will happen to Vivian? Well, go and take care of the rubbish.. oh.. Yacoob's portfolio.

With YOG and the upcomng casino social problems, it is an open secret that VV has been looking for all sorts of ways to leave MCYS. This is especially before the body count from his failed casino levy system starts to mount. Just this weekend, there was yet another case of "casino sky diving".

Traditionally MCYS has been one of the more "senang" Ministry to manage. If VV does not go ENV, where else do you want to put him? Mindef? MTI? or maybe MOF ...

Given the mess that MCYS is in, I don't think that there are many other people who would be willing to take over from VV.

If you are capable or running MCYS or becoming a credible opposition member of parliament..I would vote for you...even if you look ugly!:p

As for VB, I guess most people here will palmface if he really get a "senior ministry"! "Junior ministry" he has already screwed up (from delay and increased cost of Sports Hub, bloated YOG to homeless....spending more on such things but stingy on helping the vulnerable....apparently his priority is screwed, etc) big time, imagine how much bigger trouble we will have if he is to go to some "senior ministry"!
