The standard of reporting is so poor & editing also, Blk 21 is on Hougang Avenue 3 , not Hougang Avenue 1. They have always mentioned, vote oppositions your flats will become slums, now whose side of HG have more crime?, recently another teenage robbery, not far from blk 21 hg avenue 3; whose side again? Aljunied...GRC. The proof is in the pudding...

SINGAPORE : Police have arrested two teenage girls, aged 15 and 17, believed to have been involved in two lift robberies.

A 17-year-old teenage boy was also arrested in connection with one of the cases.

Police said on the night of September 6, a 62-year-old woman reported that two people tried to rob her while she was inside the lift at Block 21 Hougang Avenue 1.
They fled when their attempt to snatch her handbag failed.

Officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division responded and detained a 17-year-old girl fitting the description provided by the victim.

Following her arrest, officers managed to locate the second suspect, a 15-year-old girl.

Investigations later revealed that a male accomplice was also involved and he was caught early Tuesday morning near Syed Alwi Road.

The three suspects will be charged in court on Wednesday with robbery with hurt, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years jail and at least 12 strokes of the cane. - CNA /

Block 21 is Aljunied GRC side.

Anyway, it's a criminal matter, not a political matter.

Criminals don't choose sides when they commit crimes.

But 'po lam par' must choose sides.:D

Then again, there are people who don't choose sides even when they po lam par; they simply po ALL the lam pars.

This was one of the blocks I've visited before with GMS in 2005 for the GE2006 campaign. The lighting was very bad at lobbies and corridors, yes. Right downstairs, either same or next block (20/19), is PAP Foundation and Branch. You go ask them. LHL held meetings there before. Luckily, he wasn't mugged by teenage girls.
