The talent show “China’s Got Talent” has been very popular in China lately, just as it has been in its American and British formats. Recently on its third episode, a bit involving a husband and wife couple who make a living selling duck necks through a small cart on the streets has attracted a lot of attention.

A copy of the video on YouTube, with our translated English subtitles:

Great stuff, man I was crying throughout.

Their perseverance makes their compatriots who flock to Sinkieland look like farking wimps.

Hope the lady will get to the final, so she can continue singing for the rest of her life!

Stupid Chinamen aping the West as usual.

1.3 billion of them and they can't even come up with their own talent show format. What a fucked up nation.

What a tearjerker. How come we never get this kind of decent people coming to Singapore. One power loving couple.

i like the pig act than her singing, and i have no tears, but only laughter for prc.

This is definitely staged, although I am not saying the feeling and love is unreal. The really really sad part is not the couple being poor and struggle in life, the real sad part will be when they have gained some fame here and be able to make some little money. After which, the husband will go on to look for another women and the wife may just lead a different life style.

There is really bliss in living in a simple way. Those cheating monks and pastors were all once kind and generous, until their ego and bank accounts went unchecked.

the husband had a hidden msg in his performance... his act is called "slaughter the pig".
notice the size of his wife?
