Why the middle lane?

Letter from Eugene Tan : Why is the middle lane designated as the "Give Way" lane for the duration of the Youth Olympic Games?

Most commuters use that lane to get from a slip road to the overtaking lane, and vice-versa.

Surely the outer-most lane is the logical choice, since even ambulances use it?

And with less than three weeks to the Games, I have not seen any practice runs using these lanes. All I hear are advertisements imploring commuters to give way.

What if a pedestrian knocks a YOG vehicle in the middle lane? If dies, that's his own business? If he lives, get summoned, pay fine and damages?

On the testing part. Now I know why people complained that their threads were deleted by the moderator. Actually they were not deleted. They were mysteriously lost in the folder. Go to profile and click all threads posted by yourself and test. It then will reappear.:p
