But then, we are not in Yankeeland, where guns are easily available. Knowing a little self defence helps when u are in a one to one situation. But if a whole gin gang comes charging at u with sticks and parangs, make sure you're also trained in track and field, especially the 100m sprint!!!

Prequel is about a young Ip Man. Donnie too old to act as young man in his early 20s lah! Thats why they've to get Danny To who bears some resemblance to Donnie.

I like the fighting scenes in Ip Man 1 and 2. Especially Ip Man 2, against the english boxer. No kicking allowed but he still manage to fight him with some brillant hand work.

That only happens in the movies lah! Wing Chun is a good fighting art, but has its weakness. That's why Bruce Lee improvised it by coming up with his own Jeet Koon Do.

MSK don't know wing chun or shaolin, but he sure had qigong, when he landed on those toliet rolls...and fly up the ledge...and all the way to Senoko..where he floated across the straits to Johor..

Wing Chun is just like any martial arts. More arts. But having said that, if practice properly it will still be effective. As for Bruce lee's Jeet Koon Do, he make it like today's MMA. Effective and to-the-point. One strike and the fight ends
