The size of the population has nothing to do with the footballing. If this is the case than New Zealand (population 3.5 million) and countries like Kuwait (twice in WC) would never have made it. It has everything to do with how they develop their own talent and the programs they have in place to promote the sport and money they spend on their players and coaches. In S'pore, PAP develops foreign talent and football is not a priority for them. The FAS is also filled with political appointments, instead of real football people, and fat and lazy and void of ideas.

Your standard of doing well is very low. Can you kindly show me the Olympic medals from the 3 sports that u have mentioned? I think an Olympic bronze is the minimum requirement to qualify for "doing well". These imported FTs from these 3 countries are rejects of their respective national team. They are not good enough to hold down first team spot in their native country, and only we are suckered into paying big money for them. If you can import Michael Phelps for S'pore, than we are talking, until, please raise your standards.

When has Singapore EVER attracted TOP TALENTS? Be it bankers, IT, you name it; all the FTs that come here are half-past-six and cannot make it BIG in their own respective countries.

How many GLARING FAILURES examples have we seen? From BANKERS to sportsmen and women.

I dont blame the PRC sports people from coming to Singapore to make money to feed their families back home.

I ALWAYS BLAME THE SCUMS FOR USING THEM AS POLITICAL PROPAGANDA TOOLS.
