Msia & Brunei Nearly Went to War!

when sarawak and sabah joined the malaysia...they are controlled by the west malaysia..obviously they are protected by west malaysia and no army was set up by themselves....

once independent they will set up their own army and defend themselves....

they should step up for independence

Brunei did not join the Federation of Malaysia, due to their oil reserves, they were smart...we have no choice!!

Hi Halsey!

We had a choice acutally. PAP wanted M'sia!!!

Tengku realized what he was up against and quickly kicked peesai out!

Cheers!

Right now, things are stable - thanks to Pak Harto to initiate ASEAN.

But in the late 50s and 60s (limpei didn't even play marbles yet) Communism posed a threat to the "free world." Even a country with a strong religous population, Indonesia, was afraid of the Red Peril. Today, the commies have forgotten what they started fighting for (sounds like a track from some rock song, was it Journey?) So Sabah and Sarawak under Brit persuasion quickly joined Peninsula. Not only did KL suck their money, they got trashed jialat jialat every Malaysia Cup game!!!! And their peninsula brudders got no sportsmanship and jeered them and rubbed salt into the wound that KK char kway teow no standard one.

Ya, they should go independent. Merdeka!

Cheers!
