To all Sinkies who make the same mistake every 5 years and hope for a different outcome.

Granted that getting that rich is a mammoth task, I don't see how changing the ruling political party will change anything. A loser will suddenly become a rich winner? All your problems will get resolved miraculously? Dream on!

Well, changing the ruling political party may address the issues you mentioned, if the new party is focussed on improving the lives of the masses, reducing the wealth gap and cost of living, instead of obssessing about GDP growth and funnelling wealth to the top 1%:
- dismantling the COE system in favor of a more equitable car ownership system
- instituting minimal wage and legislating that jobs go to locals first unless a foreigner has skillsets licals lack
- greater freedom of speech and association, separation of powers and safeguards to prevent the abuse of POFMA and defamation suits for political purposes
- putting a top limit on immigration growth and implenenting genuinely effective measures to boost native fertility rate

All the above is not a pipedream; they are already in place - in one form or another - in many advanced European nations with far better quality of living than us.

Most Shitgaporeans are frogs in the well who don't understand what good governance is

So let’s for example this statement you made.

A lot of words but I don’t see the suggestion in here. What did u mean by equitable car ownership system? How do u do that? Lol

I can say shit like “we should favor a just and transparent judicial system” but I am just talking cock if I don’t say how it can be done.

I'm not a politician. I vote for a politician/political party to solve our society's issues and problems. Otherwise I might as well run for election myself and earn a $1 mil salary.

Suggestions:
1. Do away with the COE system. No other advanced countries have it. Reduce the import tax and ARF. Tax usage, not ownership. Give us a world class MRT system, not just 6 lines. Beijiing has 19 lines, London has 16 lines, Paris has 15 lines, Tokyo has 14 lines. The best subway systems in the world are all nationalized, not privatized.
2. "Just and transparent judicial system"... for starters our High Court Judges are all appointed by the President on advice of the PM. How not to kelong? Set up an independent judicial commission like the UK to select and vet appointees.

There are many ways to skin a cat. Why not do a study of the most successful democratic nations and take away best practices in terms of governance, rule of law, separation of powers, independent judiciary and pluralistic media? You don't have to re-invent the wheel, you know.
