A police report has been lodged after a case of alleged voyeurism in Nanyang Junior College.

The school confirmed with Mothership that they are aware of the incident and have lodged a police report.

Police investigations are ongoing, the JC's principal, Pang Choon How said.

Video of student getting confronted​

A video sent to Mothership showed two students confronting a male student, who comes out of a cubicle.

The toilet is believed to be a female toilet located in the school.

He was alleged to have been attempting to film girls in the toilet.

When caught, he allegedly claimed to have been "studying".

Disciplinary actions taken​

Pang said that disciplinary actions have been taken against the student involved, adding that they take a serious view of sexual misconduct.

"The student has been suspended from school and will have his conduct grade adversely impacted," he said.

He has also been counselled for his actions and will be referred for further professional support.

The school is also working closely with his parents on the incident.

Pang further stated:

"We take the well-being of our students seriously and have engaged students on the incident. We have also checked in with affected students on their well-being and will continue to look out for and offer support to students who may be affected by this incident.

The school will continue to take necessary steps to maintain a safe and conducive learning environment for all students."

There was a cover-up initially, until students sexposed the news to media, because the culprit was a top model student and principal was a high-flyer MOE scholar.
