Your examples referred mainly to Covid. Yep, that was a crazy and unprecedented time. Info and misinfo were everywhere. And misinfo was deadly. So the Biden admin thought it was necessary to censor some info in order to save lives and to enforce these censorship. For example, some people were promoting the use of Hydroxychloroquine (I didn't know how to spell this, so I googled) and injecting disinfectant, which were both dangerous things todo.

The censorship was all about vaccines not crazy treatments. There was widespread censorship of other issues too the most obvious being the hunter biden laptop expose.

Same goes to why many Singaporeans can live beyond the Japanese occupation if the Japanese did really a lot of atrocities

even when i was in primary 6 - i read about WW2 liao...............and i was thinking - if Hitler wanted to kill off the Jews, he could easily do so before 1945..............why let survivors be living witnesses..............??

An emotional 100-year-old war veteran heartbreakingly declared that winning World War II ‘wasn’t worth it’ due to the state of the country at the moment.

Alec Penstone appeared on Good Morning Britain joined by musicians the D Day Darlings, who surprised him with a performance ahead of Remembrance Day week.


Asked by host Kate Garraway what Remembrance Sunday meant to him, war veteran Alec emotionally described how it felt as though winning the war was ‘not worth’ the sacrifice of how the country had turned out today.

Alec said: “My message is, I can see in my mind's eye those rows and rows of white stones and all the hundreds of my friends who gave their lives, for what? The country of today?

“No, I'm sorry - but the sacrifice wasn't worth the result of what it is now.”

Alec continued: “What we fought for was our freedom, but now it's a darn sight worse than when I fought for it.”

The show’s presenters were stunned by his answers with Kate consoling him: “Alec, I'm sorry you feel like that and I want you to know that all the generations that have come since, including me and my children, are so grateful for your bravery and all the other service personnel.

“It's our job now to make it the country that you fought for, and we will do.”

Alec was just 15 when war broke out in 1939. He volunteered as a messenger throughout the Blitz and spent his teenage years “pulling bodies out of bombed buildings.”

He went on to join the Navy after promising his father he wouldn’t serve on the front lines due to the horrors he had witnessed in WW1.

He served on submarines and on an aircraft carrier and took part in the Arctic Convoys to Russia, before taking part in the D-Day landings.

Today’s UK is the result of the actions taken by its leaders.
In growing their economy and GDP, they let their doors open to grow the population, this is the trick most government used to progress their country.
So, people from their ex colonies took this opportunity and migrated to the UK in very large numbers.
That led to the current situation.
Winning the war is different.
The axis power especially Japan was especially cruel in their reign of the conquered countries which we must prevent it from happening again.
Please be reminded that 50,000 of our people in Singapore alone lost their lives under the Japanese rule. Even our revered LKY, in his memoirs mentioned that a timely call of nature kept him alive as his group were placed in lorries headed for their slaughter at Changi beach.
No. I am happy that we are alive and prospered because the allies won.
UK demise is the result of getting a lot of people into their country without they in turn offering meaningful contributions back to it, most of them ended up very dependent on their very generous welfare system.

In S'pore, politicians maximise their bonus payouts when economic growth is inclusive i.e. translates into higher purchasing power for the average and lower-income citizens, keeping unemployment low and inflation under control. The PAP circumvents these by including foreigners i.e. new SG citizens, considering S'poreans who are unable to find work after 6 months retired/no longer interested in working and not including homes and cars when calculating inflation respectively.
