100yo British WW2 veteran: "We should have let the Nazis win."

Or it could just be the reality of the situation? Rather than just similar sources supporting the progressive agenda. I am opposed to men in women's sports, sharing women's locker rooms, open borders and DEI. Not all of Trump's policies are bad, but progressively more are, when he started to show authoritative tendencies. He's going beyond being a conservative, leading a conservative party. I feel the US needs a more centralist party. The current two parties have moved so far away from the center.

The citing of that faggot's article is an unfortunate one. There are plenty of other sources which brought up the same issues.

It was glaringly obvious that the first article was written by a faggot. However if you dig into each and every author critical of Trump's initiatives you'll invariably find links to woke agendas, woke money or woke advocacy or some Democrat funded organisation hell bent on stopping Trump at all costs.

As for Trump's "authoritarian" policies it all depends upon how you frame the word. A US President is elected by the people via a system crafted to ensure checks and balances to the point where gridlock is often the norm rather than the exception. Trump has an agenda which he clearly spelt out during his campaign and his actions thus far have all been about implementing what he campaigned on.

In my books that's what a democracy is.. you say what your intentions are, campaign to sell the policies and the electoral process decides whether the majority wants you as a leader for the next 4 years.

What is Trump doing that he did not enunciate during his rallies? Spell them out and we can debate the nitty gritty. Sweeping statements that he is a fascist, dictator, Hitler contribute nothing to the debate. All they do is attach labels, the oldest trick in the book. LKY was master of this eg Tang Liang Hong was a "Chinese Chauvinist", Chee Soon Juan a Charlatan, Tan Wah Piow was a communist all without a shred of evidence whatsoever. In some cases they even tried to plant or falsify evidence to justify their actions. EG accusing Tan of "rioting" with the accuser being none other than Phey Yew Kok, a "reliable" witness if ever I saw one. :D

No one needed to prove Biden was senile because he didn't go boasting how fit and mentally sharp he was. Until of course during the end of his presidency when the dems tried to hide his cognitive decline. The point is don't say shit when the facts show the opposite. It creates a field day for people to disprove you, to whack you.
Oh yeah? :D

The fact that Biden gave this interview after he was repeatedly losing it mid sentence during the Trump debate is even more alarming.

The fact that Biden did poorly in that debate and later allowed himself to be interviewed only shows he had totally lost it. But this was towards the end of his presidency. Trump's term had only just started.

Biden's saving grace was he did nothing and had his wife and senior dems do his job. Whereas Trump, in addition to "doing" his job wants to dictate to everyone. Even when he's talking shit. Hence 1500% drug price reduction, daily fluctuating tariffs, ukraine started the war, and so on.

He promised he would protect free speech, bring down cost of living, release Epstein files,

Speech is certainly more free under Trump than it was under Biden. COL is an outcome not a policy and needs time to play out as there are many opposing factors at play. Epstein files?... no idea what's going on there. Perhaps there really are no incriminating files. One thing I am sure about is that Trump is not implicated. If he was the evidence would have been laid bare under the previous admin.

He's the President of course he's calling the shots that's what leaders are supposed to do. His methods may be unorthodox but the proof of the pudding is in the eating so let's see how his presidency pans out. I'm very happy with how he's been doing so far.

Does he talk shit? Of course he does he's been doing it for the last 4 decades ever since he rose to prominence as a billionaire and I love the absence of a filter.

And thanks for acknowledging that Biden was lost. I'm sure it was far better for the US to have an unelected wife in charge of policy. :D

He's implemented or implementing an emergency price relief to defeat the cost-of-living crisis. Copying SG's much loved CDC vouchers. He also admitted in one interview that he finds it difficult to reduce cost of living. So he made an empty promise. One of many.

AI says :
The approach to free speech under President Trump has been characterized by significant actions perceived as attacks on First Amendment rights, while President Biden's administration has focused on restoring and protecting those rights.

He's in the Epstein files. Dems didn't dig deep enough or spoke to the right people.

An emotional 100-year-old war veteran heartbreakingly declared that winning World War II ‘wasn’t worth it’ due to the state of the country at the moment.

Alec Penstone appeared on Good Morning Britain joined by musicians the D Day Darlings, who surprised him with a performance ahead of Remembrance Day week.

Asked by host Kate Garraway what Remembrance Sunday meant to him, war veteran Alec emotionally described how it felt as though winning the war was ‘not worth’ the sacrifice of how the country had turned out today.

Alec said: “My message is, I can see in my mind's eye those rows and rows of white stones and all the hundreds of my friends who gave their lives, for what? The country of today?

“No, I'm sorry - but the sacrifice wasn't worth the result of what it is now.”

Alec continued: “What we fought for was our freedom, but now it's a darn sight worse than when I fought for it.”

The show’s presenters were stunned by his answers with Kate consoling him: “Alec, I'm sorry you feel like that and I want you to know that all the generations that have come since, including me and my children, are so grateful for your bravery and all the other service personnel.

“It's our job now to make it the country that you fought for, and we will do.”

Alec was just 15 when war broke out in 1939. He volunteered as a messenger throughout the Blitz and spent his teenage years “pulling bodies out of bombed buildings.”

He went on to join the Navy after promising his father he wouldn’t serve on the front lines due to the horrors he had witnessed in WW1.

He served on submarines and on an aircraft carrier and took part in the Arctic Convoys to Russia, before taking part in the D-Day landings.
These pommies had their share of glories . It is in the past.
For all the stealing, killing and cheating that they have done to the world, I would consider all these present day conditions is poetic justice that the rest of the world is fortunate enough to harvest now.
God save the King but nothing can save the British Empire.

Here's what AI says about the Biden Admin vs the Trump Admin :

Examples of Trump Administration Actions Restoring Free Speech Rights (2025) Compared to Biden COVID-Era RestrictionsThe Trump administration, starting in January 2025, has taken several steps to limit federal involvement in speech moderation, particularly on social media platforms, in direct contrast to the Biden administration's (2021–2025) documented efforts to pressure tech companies into censoring COVID-19-related content deemed "misinformation." During the Biden era, federal agencies like the White House, CDC, and State Department coordinated with platforms to suppress dissenting views on vaccines, lockdowns, and origins of the virus, leading to account suspensions, content removals, and even labeling critics as "domestic violent extremists."

Lower courts found these actions violated the First Amendment, though the Supreme Court later dismissed some challenges on standing grounds.

Below is a list of key Trump-era examples, with contrasts to the prior period:
  1. Issuance of Executive Order 14149 (January 20, 2025)
On his first day in office, President Trump signed this order prohibiting federal agencies from using resources to coerce private entities (e.g., social media) into censoring protected speech, including on topics like "misinformation." It mandates an Attorney General investigation into Biden-era censorship activities from the past four years and requires remedial actions.

    whitehouse.gov +1
Biden COVID Contrast: The White House and agencies routinely flagged and pressured platforms like Facebook and Twitter to remove posts questioning vaccine efficacy or mask mandates, resulting in widespread deplatforming.

    judiciary.house.gov +1
  2. Dismantling of State Department Censorship Frameworks (September 2025)
Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced the closure of the Counter Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (R/FIMI) Hub—formerly the Global Engagement Center (GEC)—and ceased all related "frameworks" used to counter "disinformation," which had been repurposed for domestic speech suppression. This aligns with the January EO and shifts focus to countering only genuine foreign threats without infringing on U.S. expression.

    state.gov
Biden COVID Contrast: The GEC under Biden actively monitored and flagged COVID-related "disinformation" for platforms to censor, including domestic content, as part of a broader interagency effort.

    nclalegal.org
  3. Tech Company Policy Reversals on COVID Content Bans (September 2025)
Google admitted to the House Judiciary Committee that it censored YouTube content at Biden administration requests during the COVID era and pledged to end such bans, reinstating accounts suspended for "misinformation" and revising moderation policies to prioritize free expression.

    judiciary.house.gov +1
This followed Trump's EO, signaling reduced federal pressure.
Biden COVID Contrast: Google/YouTube, under Biden directives, banned or demonetized thousands of channels for COVID skepticism, including doctors and scientists, harming public discourse.

    thehill.com +1
These actions represent an early focus on reversing federal overreach, though critics note ongoing debates about their implementation and potential for selective enforcement.

Further developments may emerge from the ongoing AG investigation.

In my opinion the British have done way more good than harm and the ex colonies ended up in a far better position after gaining independence compared to black and brown countries that have never been invaded by the whites.

The best examples lie in the Pacific. All you have to do it look at the standard of living in NZ vs other Pacific nations such as Samoa, Tonga, Fiji etc.

Had it not been for the arrival of the white man Maori would still be the savages that they were before the Brits arrived.

Another obvious example is Singapore. The pioneer generation inherited a functioning democracy with proper infrastructure thanks to the foundations put in place by Sir Stamford Raffles and his successors.

HK too.

Indeed. Of all the colonial masters, the Brits and the Dutch were the two best variants. They usually got their shit together. They built infrastructure, educated the locals, improved sanitation and hygiene etc.

The French were a mixed bag. See Vietnam.

If your colonial masters were Spanish or Portuguese, expect much of the public funding to be invested in delulu Catholic nonsense.

And God forbid you get acquainted with Belgian colonial masters.

What I find really bizarre is that the Latinos take so much pride in their "heritage" which was actually forced upon them by the Spanish. :D

Spanish (and Portuguese in Brazil) is the language that was imposed upon the South American tribes by the marauding armies from Spain/Portugal.

The Spanish invasion of Latin America was one of the largest genocides of it's time.

https://www.timetravelturtle.com/peru/spanish-genocide/

Today many Latinos strut their stuff in the USA proclaiming smugly that they all speak Spanish rather than English.

Fucking bunch of morons. Why don't they take another step back in time and go back to worshiping the Inca sun gods and sacrificing their children to appease the demons.

The dutch forcefully acquired indon kampung land for their dutch colonisers. Mostly in fertile java and sumatra. And used cheap javanese for labour.
The malays sits higher up. So when the japs left, the javanese slaughtered all the elite malays in sumatra and kalimantan due to their friendship with the dutch.

Your examples referred mainly to Covid. Yep, that was a crazy and unprecedented time. Info and misinfo were everywhere. And misinfo was deadly. So the Biden admin thought it was necessary to censor some info in order to save lives and to enforce these censorship. For example, some people were promoting the use of Hydroxychloroquine (I didn't know how to spell this, so I googled) and injecting disinfectant, which were both dangerous things todo.
