Elderly man, in his 60s, suffered heart attack while at Serangoon swimming pool, conveyed to hospital
He was seen being taken onto an ambulance while unconscious.

An elderly man in his 60s suffered a heart attack while swimming at Serangoon Swimming Complex.
He was rescued by a lifeguard on duty, who performed cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.
The man was later conveyed to the hospital.
Lifeguard seen performing CPR
According to Shin Min Daily News, the incident occurred at around 7am on Jun. 3, 2026.When a pool user, Zhang (transliteration), arrived at Serangoon Swimming Complex at around 7:12am, she was informed by the staff that the pool was temporarily closed.
Zhang said she saw an elderly man lying by the poolside.
A lifeguard was seen performing CPR on the man.
Another female lifeguard was seen monitoring the elderly man's condition.
According to Zhang, the elderly man was not responsive and the atmosphere was tense, Shin Min wrote.
"There were quite a few members of the public watching from the entrance. Some were also in their swimming attire. They were swimming at the time before being told to exit the pool by the staff," Zhang said.
Conveyed to hospital
When Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers arrived, they took over the CPR effort, Zhang said.About 10 minutes later, the elderly man was put on the ambulance.
He was apparently unconscious at the time.
Zhang also shared that there were at least five police officers at the scene.
They were seen speaking to the two lifeguards.
The pool had already been reopened to the public by the time Shin Min visited at around 10am.
In response to media queries, SCDF said they received a call for assistance at 7:05am.
One person was sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, according to SCDF.
In a statement, a SportSG spokesperson said that an incident occurred at the ActiveSG Serangoon Swimming Complex.
“Medical assistance was promptly administered to the affected individual by our lifeguards and staff, in accordance with our emergency response protocols,” the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson added that SportSG is in touch with the next-of-kin and understand that the individual is currently receiving medical care.
