The only aesthetically pleasing buildings are the traditional Malay, traditional Chinese and British colonial buildings built before the 1970s.

"Brutalist architecture was literally designed with human psychology as a metric, where the desired end state was a design that made people experience feeling as though they're controlled by an authority, feelings of hopelessness and a sense of unnerving presence.

It was literally an attempt by the Soviet Union to control people by forcing them to live in a sterile and soulless environment."

All the buildings with sophisticated designs were built by Tartarians, buildings with simple designs were built during NWO. Those buildings with sophisticated designs both interior and exterior could not be replicated by modern architects for a reason

All these old buildings tell a story and history

Brutalism is Marxist? Where did that come from? @laksaboy is seeing commie ghosts everywhere.

The truth is that Brutalist architecture was a style developed in the UK after the World War for designing public buildings.

What Is Brutalist Architecture?

New York City Police Headquarters

New York City Police Headquarters by Gruzen & Partners, 1973.

Brutalist architecture is a style of building design developed in the 1950s in the United Kingdom following World War II. With an emphasis on construction and raw materials, the aesthetic evolved as reconstruction efforts were underway in the post-war era. “If modernism is about architecture being honest, Brutalist design is about architecture being brutally honest,” Geddes Ulinskas, principal of Geddes Ulinskas Architects, adds. “Forms are as simple as can be and materials are stripped to be as bare and raw as possible.”

Tartaria style architecture (that you have seen around the world) vs brutalist architecture
