A California man was arrested near Donald Trump's golf course in Los Angeles while wearing body armor and carrying a loaded rifle covered with phrases from the Joker.

Sean Steiner faces multiple felony firearm charges after he wandered into Rancho Palos Verdes, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Someone in the affluent, cliffside neighborhood called the police and alerted them to a man suited up in body armor in the hiking trails.

The man had been seen with gloves, a duffle bag, a step stool and a rifle, according to Fox 11.

When police responded to the scene, Steiner was arrested while running through traffic and was found with a semi-automatic short-barreled rifle and a loaded revolver.

He was taken into custody not far from Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles.

Also on Steiner was another loaded handgun, high capacity magazines, extra ammunition and a ballistic vest capable of stopping rifle rounds, police said.

The rifle was loaded and had a round in the chamber, police said.

They also noted that it was painted green and purple and had phrases such as 'Why so serious?' and 'Let's put a smile on that face' written on it.

The phrases are uttered by the psychopathic character Joker in Batman.

Steiner allegedly told officers that he fired a pistol round into a nearby area to 'get some anger out'.

Law enforcement officers credited their 'See Something, Say Something' initiative for the successful arrest, thanking the person who called 911 to report someone suspicious.

In March, Trump's golf course in Rancho Palos Verdes was the site of a 'No Kings' protest, where MAGA supporters and anti-Trump protestors faced off.

Other Trump properties have fallen victim to suspicious activity since he returned to the political stage in 2024.

In February, Secret Service agents and a police officer shot and killed Austin Tucker Martin, a 21-year-old North Carolina man, as he tried to break into Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.

Also in February, Ryan Wesley Routh was sentenced to life in prison for his attempted assassination of Trump on his West Palm Beach golf course in September 2024.
