Beware of this man in Punggol MRT
Was on the way down the escalator when i coughed (i'm mindful of using my mouth to cover when coughing or sneezing because i usually do them loudly). This man, at least 5 steps in front of me, turns around and spits at me. I'm like wtf and he shouted at me, saying that i did not cover my mouth (obviously i did, don't know how the hell he decided that i wasn't since he was facing the front).
SL = Siao Lang
Me: "I covered my mouth when i coughed okay, and how did you even decide i wasn't since u were facing the front"
SL: "You didn't, you holding your phone"
Me: "Huh? How did you even figure? You weren't even looking at me, and anyway who gives you the right to spit on me"
SL: "You not happy, come beat me la"
Me: "Come, we exit the station now, i make a police report"
SL: "You want you come beat me, i also can call police"
Me: *Snaps a photo of him*, "Nevermind, i will report you to the passenger service. You follow me" *walks to passenger service*
SL: "Follow you for what? You trying to kidnap me?" *While following me and recording me*
Me: "You spit on me, you say let police settle right? We go now"
SL: "Why you running away?" *Hops into the MRT headed to Harbourfront*
Me: "??"
So i went to the passenger service, they say they can't do anything about it even though i reported that i was spit on by another passenger in their platform. He asked me if i wanted to activate TransCom, and that i would need 30min-1hour for them to arrive to take my statement. I figured it was a waste of time and just left.
Just wondering, is assault on another passenger something the platform staff can't handle?
