Pappies are full of shit lah. Especially for the international, geopolitical stuff. GRC is just a bunch of jiakliaobees doing estate management duty and dealing with municipal tasks. And throwing a few 'block parties' to please the 'hungry ghosts', while also using the events as photo ops in their publications.

I remember in the election before the Covid one, the PAP porlumpars came to my doorstep and I greeted them, pretending to be a cheerful PAP supporter. I bantered and casually asked the PAP MP what would happen to the then ongoing talks for a high-speed rail project. He said something about the negotiations were good and they were positive about the project.

The Ministers have done an excellent job sucking out $1 billion from COE premiums every month from car buyers for basically doing nothing to earn the money. The PAP are worse than the Mafia.
