A unique wedding ceremony in Sabah, Malaysia took social media by storm after a young groom, reportedly in his 20s, celebrated what looked like his marriage to two women at the same time.
A TikTok video of the event shared on Feb. 8 showed the trio sitting side-by-side on a wedding dais.

The clip amassed 33,000 likes at the time of writing, with netizens having mixed feelings.
Rare double wedding
The video, uploaded by user @lennahamzah, showed the man and his two wives arriving at the ceremony together under a festive canopy.
The caption read: "May you stay happy."
Clad in matching purple wedding attire, the groom walked towards the wedding dais while linking arms with both supposed brides — one on his left and one on his right.
All three of them were seen smiling at guests while walking over to the dais.
Crowds gathered in front of the throuple to take photos and videos, with one person at the end of the video also approaching them for a selfie.

The event sparked mixed reactions on TikTok.

Online spectators initially speculated that the women might be sisters, the uploader of the viral video clarified that they have no family relation to one another.
Some empathetic users offered prayers for the trio, wishing them a blissful married life.
Others jokingly turned their focus on other things, with one commenting on the brides having to fan themselves and another noticing that their scarves did not match their wedding gowns.
