I used to take Aspirin daily too. It was recommended by my doctor and was considered to be a viable and safe option for reducing stroke risk.

However I ended up getting periodic internal bleeding which caused considerable distress. There was one morning I woke up, took a pee and the stream was dark orange/red. I thought I was done for. Multiple tests and imaging were done and nobody could find anything wrong. I stopped the Aspirin and never had another bleed.

I did some research and found nattokinase and have been taking it for the last 3 years with no downsides.

Interesting but humans always have to be careful about the dosage of medications like aspirin or for reducing cholesterol esp if taken daily

The bottom line is to limit fat, sugar, be physically fit and have regular medical bi yearly checkups
