A 57-year-old man was arrested on Dec. 21 for his suspected involvement in the death of a 73-year-old man following a scuffle at a food court in Woodlands.

According to a Singapore Police Force (SPF) news release, the police received calls for assistance at a food court at Block 768 Woodlands Avenue 6 at about 9:20pm on Dec. 21.

Upon their arrival, the 73-year-old man was found unconscious.

He was conveyed to the hospital, where he subsequently passed away.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim had purportedly gotten into a dispute with the 57-year-old, which escalated into a scuffle, SPF said.

The 57-year-old will be charged in court on Dec. 23 for voluntarily causing grievous hurt.

The offence carries a jail term which may extend to 10 years, and a fine or caning.

"The Police have zero tolerance towards such acts of violence and will take firm action against those who blatantly disregard the law," SPF said.

Sigh …. Why? Living until such an ages… still want fight…

This kind of thing has no right or wrong.

It is same as accepting a gov.

I.E you either keep silence and endure it or want to solve it.

In this case, they chose to solve it.
And most of the time, violence and bloodshed is needed to end the dispute.
You cannot solve a dispute by just talking unless 1 of the party is willing to give way, which is impossible to happen.

I can leelate my personal experience with altercation with strangers.
And after I did a leeview of it, I came to the above conclusion.

In that event, a self entitled mum blamed me for causing her child to fall.

At that time, I didn't know about this conclusion and wasted my saliva and energy trying to convince her that she was in the wrong for not looking after her child properly and allowing him to run about and banged onto me.
First of all I should have thought of this, if she knew she was in the wrong, she wouldn't have blamed me and argued that I was in the wrong , isn't it?

There was absolutely no point for me to even argue or convince her.

I should either had chosen
1. To endure it and move on or
2. Or solve it. To solve it, I would have to punch her. No other way man

There is no right or wrong for the 2 options that I have to choose.
It is a personal choice.

The ending we had carried no meaning at all, it was simply a waste of our time and energy and saliva.
It will only deemed leesolved when either she punches me or I punches her.
After that either one of us go to jail and the other suffer a injury. Or worst, death like this particular case.
But problem will be considered LEESOLVED.

Many people in this forum like 'A Singaporean' (gay and in denial) and 'superpower' (lying mofo & fatty bom bom fighting in Sunshine Place food court) can use your advice.

LOL

In that case, worth dying for.
But unfortunately, the other guy who survived will Be charged for manslaughter.
manslaughter.... I guess it will be Voluntarily Causing Grevious Hurt... which probably the 57 years old will go to jail for less than 2-3 years without canning due to >50 years old.... He just became the scapegoat for big pharma.
