Serious Sinkies owe record credit card debts!

True. The news said in Singapore, but never specifically mention Singaporeans. The influx of populations created the trend.
This I agree. The 3rd world imports do not understand the ethics of using a credit card. Do u trust them to pay back? And resources is needed to deal with this problem.

There is a reason to keep the citizens financially illiterate. One can be highly educated in the school system of indoctrination but still financially illiterate when it comes to finance.
Blur as fuck but very high ego de woh

Only noveau riche wannabes buy Rolex.

If you want a trusty watch, buy a Casio G-Shock.

If you already own at least two other Apple products, get an Apple Watch.

If you are really high SES, consider these two brands. You won't want to wear them everyday anyway, but collect them and wear only on special high SES events and gatherings.

The problem with the sinkie old men is that they own self stupid yet they still think other people are stupid

The old men who spend in advance using credit cards probably regretted now as they now have to work in a lowly job to replay their monthly credit cards payments :frown:

Card issuers hoped that spenders would pay only the minimum amount and let the balance roll over, allowing them to charge the maximum interest on it.

The only good thing about using credit card is that in the event of a fraud, the ball is on the banks court.

But recently I saw a news which look unusual.

Someone credit card was stolen, somewhere in airport or plane, by the time she discovered it, the thief had already spend $10k on an hour shopping spree.

Then somehow the court ordered her to pay up as the bank defended that it is the fault of the card owner.

From here, it simply means to me that credit card shouldn't exists in the first place, as it means it is something anyone can spend using your card, as long as you doesn't protect it well.
Something that is used at your own risk, you want?
How stupid this world can get?

If the bank stance is that
You drop your money and doesn't protect it well, people can also spend it

I will tell them
Do people carry 10k cash with them?

The money are just like the game credits in a video game. As long as you still have “health”, the game is not over yet.

However, sheeple are not real human and don’t possess wisdom to realise it.

They rather die without credits in a game. Many are willing to commit suicide over these things that doesn’t exist in nature. See how dumb they are

Why India Fell Off the Global Middle-Class Map

Stymying the emergence of a global middle class in India.

In 1980, neither China nor India had much representation in the “global middle class” — people who neither belong to the bottom half of the income distribution nor rank among the top 10% worldwide. Almost a half-century later, things have changed — but in very different ways. China now accounts for a sizable share of the more affluent middle-income earners, while India seems to have faded in relative importance.

This finding, nestled in the annual World Inequality Report, is a puzzle. After all, the only two countries with billion-plus populations are both believed to have done well by embracing capitalism and opening their economies after the collapse of the Soviet Union. China became the factory to the world; India became its back office. So why should the outcomes for their citizens be so different?

Artificial intelligence is likely to displace British workers even as it makes the country more productive, Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey said in his most stark warning yet on the technology’s impact.

Bailey said on Friday that the UK needed to prepare for workers being pushed out of jobs amid fears that it is already denting demand for many white-collar roles. He said it could hit the pipeline of talent that allows workers to climb the career ladder to more senior positions.

AI and robotics can replace hundreds or even thousands of workers with just a few, potentially improving output. If many factories adopt AI technology, it could lead to a significant rise in unemployment, yet GDP can increases with significantly fewer workers.

AI n Robotic will just decimate the Demand of Goods / Services for Human consumers

Maybe SG will consider to reclassify AI n Robotic as new shitzen??
