China-Japan row hits Japanese #tourism: Thousands of #cancellations.

The 45-year-old #GamagoriHotel in #Aichi Prefecture has faced mass cancellations amid the ongoing #China-#Japan political row. Hotel director Yoshiko Takeuchi said 2,000 leaving staff and bus drivers #struggling. Despite the losses, she expressed #hope that #travel between the two countries will resume eventually. The cancellations follow Japanese Prime Minister #SanaeTakaichi's controversial comments on #Taiwan, which sparked travel #warnings and disrupted tourism.
 
The initial phase is always hard; eventually, the supply and demand curve will self-correct to a reasonable equilibrium.
