I am taking probiotics for gut, gingko bilabo for brain, vit B complex for damaged nerves, omega 3 for triglycerides lowering , cranberries extracts for luts, bitter melons extracts for glucose lowering.

Now I see got beet root gummies.

How many kind of supplements is leecomended or leequired to cover the full body?

KNN

these are all fake stuff churned by media for supplement companies to fleece you.
if you are having balanced diet, exercise regularly (bonking and PCC counts)...you have nothing to worry about and there is absolutely no need to take further shit into your body. Regardless what crap they write on the packaging as natural....they are not. Since when fish oil is yellow and in a capsule de?

When i started to take omega 3 for triglycerides lowering, it brought my triglycerides from 3+ to 1+

I take gingko to maintain my clear mindedness, although there isn't any proof for maintaince and future, as I'm still having a very clear state mind.

I take vit B 1/6/12 complex aka daneuron is prescribed by loctor for my damaged nerve inflicted 30+ years ago after motosikal accident and multiple surgeries to the leg.

But for the rest like probiotics, bitter melon, cranberries extracts, i doesn't know taking it will have any differences.

I now had quite a huge difference in hba1c, I cannot confirm is due to my diet changes or the bitter melon working.

There are so many that's why I doesn't know where should the cutoff point be.

At is a zero sum game, you take supplement to feel strong and fresh, make you energetic to work more extra to pay for it, compared to an ordinary guy who just needs the necessary or minimum amount and work at normal pace. They both survived well. All these supplements during our grandfather time are unheard of or only known to the elite, they also lived pass their expiry date

I buy from iHerb
Please don’t buy from TikTok or Shopee
IHerb is good
I never buy things from Tik tok as many of them will pop out another form to fill in card details.
For shopee I only buy from sg for supplements.
Sometimes I buy from leetail shop directly for a better piece of mind.
I haven't bought from iherb yet will keep a lookout.

From my own experience
After taking NMN for many months, I notice that nowadays I do not need to wake up to urine,
I can sleep throughout the night and urine the next morning

Warning over risk with common supplement

A woman was one step away from going into liver failure after taking a popular supplement.

Katie Mohan, 57, started taking 2250mg turmeric supplements after seeing the product spruiked on Instagram as a way to resolve inflammation and joint pain.

Turmeric supplements have been used to treat things such as arthritis, joint disorders, allergies, infections and colitis, according to John Hopkins Medicine.

With all medications and supplements, there are risks.

Weeks after she began taking the pills, she started to notice she was experiencing nausea, fatigue and stomach pain. Her urine had also become a lot darker.

It wasn’t until the New Jersey woman saw an NBC news report on the growing connection between liver issues and herbal supplements that a light bulb went off for her.

The World Health Organisation recommends 0–3 mg per kilogram. For Ms Mohan, that would have been roughly 200mg.

Ms Mohan ended up in urgent car where her blood work indicated her liver enzymes were 60 times the normal limit, NBC News reported.

Doctors said she was one step away from liver failure and needing a transplant.

The Therapeutic Goods Association revealed there had been 18 reports of liver problems experienced by people taking products that featured Curcuma longa (turmeric) or curcumin up until June 29 2023.

Nine of these reports had enough information to suggest that the liver injury may have been caused by the curcuma longa or curcumin. Four of these reports had no other ingredients that could have caused issues. The other five cases had other ingredients that may have contributed. There were also several Australian and international case reports about liver injury issues in other countries.

Evidence available at the time showed there was a rare risk of liver injury from taking Curcuma longa (turmeric) and/or curcumin in medicinal dosage forms. Risks may be higher for products with enhanced absorption or higher doses. Those with previous liver issues may be more likely to have a reaction.

At the time, there were more than 600 medicines listed in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods containing the product — many of which can be purchased without a prescription from supermarkets, pharmacies and health food shops.

The warning did not relate to consuming typical dietary amounts of turmeric.

Multi vitamins
For multi vit there are many brands with many different types of vit in it, each with different mg.
I was told that some of it has certain high vit in it that can cause problems when taken in high dosage over a long period of time.
Therefore I skip this supplement and take them through normal diet, and eat fruits for the common vit.

@eatshitndie told me supplements work like medicines and taking too much of them can have a impact to the liver.
So I trying to figure out the cut off point, as there are just too many to consider.
