The way things are going now in shithole island, I recommend that even the pedestrians and people who take public transport buy some travel insurance.

Reduce their speed back to 50km/h. With the new speed of 70km/h, many of these drivers are either hogging in the middle lane of expressway or even go higher than 70km/h at the fastest lane on the right.

Now many new sensors installed on lamp pole, even speed exceed 1km/h. An Tio demerit point…

Many pedestrians and cyclists have the connotation that no matter what happened, it is always the larger vehicle's fault when there is an accident. No doubt that big vehicles have the duty of care when sharing the road. But the pedestrians and cyclist does not realised that they will be ones to suffer with broken legs, arms etc. Vehicle drivers may be ban and suffer hefty fines. But at the end of the day, your broken legs will not be able to recover while drivers will still able to start all over after serving time.

My advise is protect yourself regardless of who is right or wrong. On the hindsight, accidents do occur. Bad luck. But at least protect yourself to lower the possibilities of an accident.

Nowadays, cyclists race though the foot path expecting everyone to give way to them.:x3:

E-bikes like to Cheong at Traffic Light and Zebra Cross and Bus stop or MRT Station exit
While dismounting is recommended as a good safety practice, especially in crowded areas, most cyclists in SG disregard this practice.
