I remember when I was showing my Canadian friend around Holland Village in the early 1990s, and he remarked that there were almost as many Caucasians as Asians over there.

I saw many abandoned buildings in Sungei Kadut Industrial Estate on my way to Gain City last weekend. I won't be surprised that there will be many more ghost towns at previously bustling places like Holland Village, Orchard Road, Vivocity etc. in time to come.
