A Singaporean couple have revealed their deep respect and admiration for Sun Xueling by naming their baby daughter after the Senior Minister of State at the Ministry of National Development and the Ministry of Transport.

Claire Ho and her husband John Chua had been trying for a baby for five years before they were blessed with pregnancy news in October 2024. After it was revealed they would be having a girl, they decided to name her 'Lilith'. But for the honour of her Chinese name, the happy couple opted for someone who had inspired during their parenthood journey: Sun Xueling.
