CPIB, PA and Election Department should be under PMO or President's Office?

Should be under the 97 MPs. Selected under MPs as a body. Top civil servant appointments such as police commissioner Chief Justice, Perm Sec......too
Not under a politicians but under all politicians. If president former PAP, can have no conflict of interest? Think.....Lol.

That's why I said eventually everything goes back to the SM aka the majesty.

CPIB should not be Leeporting back to the pap gov directly. It needs to be an independent party.

Take hk icac for eg
Icac leeports to hksar which then leeports to prc central gov.

Since sg has different settings in its governance, CPIB should be Leeporting to another branch in another organisation out of sg. Eg asean.

A new law on this needs to be established.

The CPIB operates with functional independence from the police and nominally from the govt, but its director reports to the Prime Minister. That is why the CPIB needed then PM Lee's permission to investigate Iswaran.

As per topic in the title.....:whistling::whistling:

Neither. They should be completely independent, just like the judiciary. Only slight problem is..judges are appointed by the President on the Prime Minister’s advice, after consultation with the Chief Justice (Article 95). But that should not interfere too much with its impartiality in its operational decisions.

All three entities must therefore be allowed to operate autonomously. A direct reporting to the PM or any ministers in the PAP-Gov would definitely create a conflict of interest which 65% enjoys being arse-farked anyways, so there is nothing to complain about, LOL.

Emperor state in sg.
POFMA allows the PAP ministers get to be judge, jury and executioner over what is fake and what is not. Under this law to supposedly fight fake news with imprisonment of up to 10 years, ministers are given broad powers to determine what is online falsehood, as well as to punish those who produced or spread them.
