Rolex SA is buying the luxury retailer Bucherer AG in a deal that will give the biggest Swiss watch brand a major presence in consumer sales for the first time.

Bucherer has more than 100 stores worldwide and will continue to operate independently, keep its name, and sell other watch brands, Rolex said in a statement. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.

Lol...so instead of sucking up some lowly Sales Associate at Cortina or Hour Glass, we get to suck some balls from Rolex SA directly?

What has changed? Surely they still have some stupid system to allocate watches to buyers.

They dun want distributors to play

Too much money in the bank. Better take it out as swiss banks seems to be collapsing.

Depend on the exclusivity deals they have here w hour glass and such. Don’t hold your breath.

You will not have to worry about this if you start cultivating an acquired taste for Casio Edifice.

Just look at Casio Speedmaster:

With Rolex acquiring Bucherer, it looks like the brand is stepping up its game in the retail arena. Having their own shops could mean shorter waiting times and a more direct buying experience. Plus, Bucherer's global presence means more accessibility for Rolex fans worldwide.
By the way, if you're still exploring luxury watches, I recently stumbled upon some fake Patek Philippe watches that are eerily similar to the real deal. It's a budget-friendly option if you're into that classic Patek look without the hefty price tag. Check out this link: replicapatekphilippe.io for more details.

I wonder if this Bucherer is same as Carl F Bucherer. John Wick wears the Manero AutoDate.

I have an antique Bucherer watch passed down by my grandfather. It's lying in my drawer. I wonder how much is it worth now?

They make good watches, not crazily priced. You should get it fixed or serviced and then wear it. Show a picture of it if you can, would like to see your vintage Bucherer.

Cutting out the authorised dealers may mean slightly lower prices. Well, one can always hope.
