Everything happens for a reason, it dont just happens. No one will ever knows what is in their minds and the reasons in coming to such tragic decisions.

People may call them cowards, losers or whatever but deep down in me I always have certain respects for their courage in taking their own lives whatever reasons it is. Life comes with a cry but death goes silently, sad isnt it.

As for media blackout, suicides invites speculations perhaps they're told to toe the line unless there is something sensational like you said killing before killed.
