Lol,cos families like jinx losing money so need cover papigs salary also

water and electricity prices should increase in sg because sinkies are spoilt rotten for enjoying low prices for decades and wasting utilities and resources. like my stupid neighbors who leave ac on all day and night and same neighbors who order their maids to wash cars with running hoses while it’s raining outside. for once and may be twice, sinkies deserve it.

Why are sinkers collectively punished become of your neighbour? ur neighbour may not even be sinker.

may be he’s jiuhukia who becums sinkie after taking jobs away from sinkies. lots of them order their maids to wash their cars early in the morning at 6.9am. i counted 69 households in siglap doing that just walking to jalan tua kong for prata. can see maids getting their t-shirts wet.

Saw this old thread and couldn’t resist adding: has anyone checked if the recent fuel price swings or grid upgrade costs explain why our rates haven’t moved much? HK’s model is quite different, so the comparison might not be straight. Curious if anyone here has switched retailer plans lately and seen any real savings, or if everything is still more or less the same.

I also feel the pinch. Sometimes the difference comes down to fuel contracts and how often rates are adjusted. I just track my usage and cut where I realistically can.
