Fuck tiong cars.

Its the battery problem. Plus electronics. I am not sure about tesla but volvos are the earliest of legacy brands to go electric.
In jiu hu, byd are very aggressive in selling theur products. If you got into a accident, byd will quickly offer you a replacement car for several days. Only to those they think who may have interest in battery. Cars. Probably live in landed properties so charging will not be a issue st home.

Hongqi on the other hand are designed by former rolls royce designer.

Actually its less costly to maintain due to less moving parts.
Electric motors will never break down, no need for oil change so no need for regular servicing.
Batteries can last for decades. Only problem is its ability to store energy will degrade over time. By tenth year, it can store only 80% of its original designed capacity.
Only problem with battery buses is the operating range.can it operate entire day with say just one cor two charges?

Reminder: they have a car showroom in the Alexandra-Leng Kee area, not too far from Ikea.

You can go there to see see look look, pretend to be an interested buyer. :roflmao:
